I didn't see a place to opt out of using a sprinkler system throughout.
Answer #1
If a fire sprinkler system is required it is automatically assumed to be installed. It does not seem like a good idea to give the users an option to eliminate something that is required. Is there a particular reason why?
Comment #2:
I think you have a typo on the link to comments "Report an error OF leave comment"
Answer#2:
This has been fixed.
Comment #3: Section 507 doesn't appear to be included in the area calculations for an F-1 Occupancy.
Answer #3:
Section 507 has not been completely addressed in the program. I am working on fixing it. I expect it to be fixed this weekend.

it would be great if you referenced code sections for every note. under the occupancy separations i had this text:a. For Group H-5 occupancies, see Section 903.2.4.2.
Answer #4:
This section is a rebuild of required separation of occupancies table. The reference changed between the 2003 and 2006 editions of the code. I will go back and fix the reference for the 2003 and earlier version of the code. It should reference section 302.3.3 in the 2003 edition and 302.3.2 in the 2000 edition.
Question #5:
my report had this statement: "Accessory use areas per section 302.2 of the 2007 California Building Code:" However there does not seem to be a section 302.2
Answer #5: You are correct. This is a hold over from the 2003 edition of the IBC. I will go back and update that CBC section. to 508.3.1.3.
Question #6:
The program does not appear to have a way to do calculations if we are using a Fire Wall to create separate buildings. Also no apparent way to assess a building which has parking garage on ground floor and residential above (there would be a 3-hr separation between garage and residential), which creates 2 buildings. Will this be addressed in future versions of this program?
Answer #6:
Yes. I need to strategize the best way to do this. There are several ways this could be attacked and I need to figure out the best way to do it. I am going to consult with different experts in this area and do some more research. This will take me a few weeks to finish.
